We are extremely proud of our extensive portfolio of work over the past 50 years covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, we have been lucky to work in the likes of Rosslyn Castle, Penicuik House, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Abbotsford House and many of Edinburgh's finest churches. A small selection of recent projects can be viewed below.

Penicuik House, Midlothian

Penicuik House, built in 1760, was a large steading development project. Now an exclusive luxurious wedding venue, boasting eleven suites and five generous double bedrooms, all en-suite, sleeping 32 overnight guests. With additional reception rooms, bar, cinema room and dining room. A full Mechanical package was carried out by Lothian Heating Services Ltd including all plumbing, heating & ventilation works.

Rosslyn Castle, Midlothian

Rosslyn Castle, which dates to the early 16th century, is one of the most significant heritage assets in Midlothian. The main focus of this project was to provide a new permanent roof over ruinous areas of the East Range for the first time in over 350 years, bringing the spaces back into use and safeguarding the historic fabric for future generations. Along with an extensive programme of conservation and repair works to the building, three layers of medieval vaults below the ground floor were repurposed as plantrooms, now housing new air source heat pumps making the castle Net Zero Ready. A full Mechanical package was carried out by Lothian Heating Services Ltd including all plumbing, heating, ventilation & BMS Control works.

Pentland Science Park: IRC Building

Home to the Moredun Group which was established by Scottish farmers in 1920, Moredun's work has always been firmly based on addressing the needs of the farming industry. The work and research here has led to the development of many vaccines, diagnostic tests and improved treatment strategies for farm animals across the globe. A full boiler replacement was carried out at this scientific research facility by Lothian Heating Services Ltd. Works included five new boilers with new flue system, extensive pipework modifications, pumps, hot water cylinders, pressurisation unit & BMS Controls strategy.

St. Peters RC Church, Edinburgh

St Peter's Church is located in the Morningside district of Edinburgh, within the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh. The parish church was designed by Sir Robert Lorimer and built from 1906 to 1907, the nave later extended from 1928 to 1929. It is a category A listed building featuring a beautiful tall square Italianate campanile watching over the welcoming courtyard. A full boiler replacement along with radiator installation throughout by Lothian Heating Services Ltd. Works included two new boilers with new flue system, extensive pipework modifications, pumps, pressurisation unit & Controls.
