Contract and Installation Clients

Below are details of some of the clients we have carried out work for.

Lothian Heating has done a variety of work for Historic Scotland including the complete overhaul and refurbishment of hot water system throughout the Holyrood Park Education Centre, Edinburgh, installing new booster pump, storage tank, water heaters and pipework.

We are very proud to have completed works at both Edinburgh and Stirling Castles, along with Holyrood Palace, Melrose Abbey, Dunblane Cathedral and numerous other historic sites. These works encompass boiler replacement, new water tanks, fan convector installation, gas sub-meter install and general pipework alteration, as well as boiler servicing and annual maintenance.

We have worked with the university of Edinburgh for over 25 years completing a variety of different mechanical contracts including:

Specialist laboratory fit-outs. Installation of new heating and electrical systems and complete refurbishment of 55-60 and 16-22 George Square in conjunction with the University Estates Department and Mitchell Dey Norton, Consulting Engineers.

Extensive heating and ventilation work at the James Clark Maxwell Building at King’s Buildings over a three year period.

Installation of radiators in the Old College Registry.

The fit-out of the “In Space” exhibition area on the ground floor of the new Potterrow Tower Block development.

For the National Library of Scotland, Lothian Heating completed the installation of warm air heaters at Sighthill Bindary in Edinburgh, large condensation pumps at Causewayside followed by alterations to the entire hot water system comprising point of use heater installation.

We have worked with the Estates Department for over 35 years carrying out boiler replacement works, scheduled boiler and system maintenance, radiator and pipework modifications.

We have attended to the plant servicing and maintenance of North Berwick Golf Club, in East Lothian for a number of years and recently were involved in the complete internal refurbishment and extension to the Clubhouse.

The boiler serving the Members Bar and staff areas was replaced in 2016 with a high efficiency system.

Lothan Heating Services have been working with this charity organisation in Edinburgh for a number of years our work has involved boiler replacements, scheduled maintenance and a variety of plumbing alterations to suit the needs of the staff and residents.

Edinburgh Leisure is a more recent addition to our client base, and Lothian Heating now carry out annual servicing and reactive repairs to all mechanical plant in a variety of sporting venues across the city.

After a complete rebuild of the premises in Edinburgh we have been appointed as servicing and maintenance contractors for all the new plant.

Planned maintenance is essential in the hospice and we work closely with the Estates Team to minimise any disruption to their day to day operation.

We provide an extensive range of services to John Dennis Ltd. on a subcontractual basis.

We provide an extensive range of services to CBS Let’s Build on a subcrontractual basis.

We have a large and varied portfolio of service and maintenance customers ranging from large country houses, hotels, community facilities and care homes to smaller one site business premises.
